Chassis Modifications - Front

Here you can see the crossmember, spring hats and shock mounts welded in position.  Note that the entire front section of the chassis was boxed first to add strength.

My overhead welding is functional but not very neat, so to get the final welds on the crossmember I decided to turn the chassis over.  Here you can see the crossmember welded to the underside of the chassis.

I am not really sure why these spacers with Gussets are not already welded to the crossmember at the Fatman factory.  They are used to space the lower arms correctly. I fully welded these all round.

The whole of the front end of the chassis completed.
