This site is dedicated to providing information on and a record of the build process of my 1956 Ford F100 (Effie).

My Name is Lee Progl and I have had an interest in cars and trucks since a very early age, due to helping my father
with his kit car project.

I have liked the look of the mid 50's F100 for as far back as I can remember and always fancied getting my hands on one, but never had the time space or money. Now at the age of 42, I still don't have the time or space and the money is rapidly running out too. But I decided that if I didn't do it now, I probably never would. So I took the plunge and bought the truck you see detailed here.

When I bought it, it was pretty much in stock (Standard) condition with the exception of a Ford 400CU "335" engine and C6 Auto Transmission that had been fitted by a previous owner.

My Plans are to customise (Rod) the truck, but keep it very much period body wise.
